Local legends, urban legends, and scary stories told around the campfire are well-trodden ground in horror, especially in young adult fiction. Matt Sears' Catch Your Breath is exactly the kind of story you'd hear while roasting marshmallows.

Falling asleep can have its drawbacks.  Just ask Laura (Caitlin Stasey) in this feature inspiring short film by Parker Finn.

It starts with Laura awakening on a therapist’s couch.  An understanding, grandfatherly therapist (Les Temple) patiently takes notes as Laura details her troubles with falling asleep.  In the warm library like room, Laura explains that she hasn’t slept in two days because every time she falls asleep, she has nightmares that she feels can kill her.
